I guess I am kind of weird. Ha! That is quite an understatement. Anyway. I know I am going to make mistakes as editor of this journal. Not everything is absolutely consistent or up to industry standard by a long shot, but I figure I deserve to give myself a little grace because I started this journal almost a decade ago having been self-trained on Publisher (I know, do not judge me) because that was the only choice I had as faculty advisor to my college’s literary magazine. I have never had anyone help me, but I saw a need, wanted to fill it, and so I did. No brag, just fact.
Because I, and my journal, are rough around the edges, my policy is to edit the journal as best I can with as limited resources as I have, give my writers a week or so to give me feedback, and then upload a revised copy. Because most of my contributors are or have been teachers, they seem to understand this process and are incredibly cooperative. Have I mentioned my contributors are the best?
Anyway, the revised version is now appearing. I will have the link to the print edition available soon. My thanks to all the teacher/writers who sent me feedback to help make the edition better. You are true examples of the spirit that is behind Teach. Write.
