I have to say it over and over again. My mantra for a new cycle of this one-woman show–my passion project. For the 2025 Spring/Summer edition of Teach. Write., I would love to publish the poems, stories, and essays that focus on people’s experiences of loss and renewal here in the aftermath of Hurricanes Helene and Milton. We’ve been through a lot in recent days, but we’ve also seen a great outpouring of goodwill. Let’s write about it!
I will consider any work by anyone, but, as always, I prefer to publish work about teaching or learning by teachers or students. Deadline for the special edition is April 1. See my submission guidelines for more information.
