Good news, everyone! Teach. Write.: A Writing Teachers’ Literary Journal is now a member of the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses (CLMP). Here is a link to the journal’s page in the CLMP Directory. I am very pleased to have been accepted and look forward to the affiliation with this organization of independent publishers established in 1967.
According to its website “CLMP exists to serve magazines, presses, Internet publishers, and chapbook and zine publishers mission-driven to publish literature. Independent literary publishers make up an underserved, uniquely vulnerable and essential field that connects the greatest diversity of writers to equally diverse communities of readers….CLMP provides technical assistance, facilitates peer-to-peer learning and group action, and builds bridges to connect diverse communities of literary stakeholders.”
CLMP encouraged me to produce an independent website as home to the journal as part of being accepted into the organization, the first step in improving its overall quality, which was my intent when I applied to the organization. Therefore, I look forward to exploring CLMP’s resources and collaborating with its staff as well as other editors and publishers to help make Teach. Write. the best it can be.
It’s a new day for Teach. Write.!
The 2023 fall/winter edition will be published Oct. 1.

Great news for you
Thank you. I’m excited to be a part of CLMP.
